Conductor: Composed of ordinary stranded copper
Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) is used in many power cables because of its good water resistance and excellent electrical properties.
Liner: A polyvinyl chloride (PVC) liner is used to provide a protective boundary between the inner and outer layers of the cable.
Armoring: Steel wire armoring provides mechanical protection, which means that the cable can withstand higher stresses, be buried directly and used for external or underground work
Sheathing: The black PVC sheath holds all components of the cable together and provides additional protection from external stresses.

Armored cable characteristics

Cross-linked polyethylene insulated armored power cables not only have excellent electrical and mechanical properties. And they also have strong resistance to chemical corrosion, thermal aging and environmental stresses. The structure of armored cable is simple. The long-term working temperature is 90℃. Armored power cable is easy to use and can be laid without grade restriction.
